Rates & information – Find the right parking area

At Stavanger Airport Sola there are 3800 parking spaces. You will not need a ticket as all parking areas have automatic licence plate recognition, making parking easy for everyone.
A 10% environmental discount on the standard price is provided for electric vehicles. The environmental discount is automatically applied when you are read by the cameras for electric vehicles with standard license plate numbers (i.e., license plate numbers starting with EL, EK, EV, etc.).

*From April 1st 2024 parking fees for motorcycles, mopeds, and moped cars at Stavanger Airport applies. Ordinary parking tariffs apply. 

Passenger drop-off and pick-up

You can drop off passengers in the designated drop-off zone just outside the terminal. Please note that this area is intended for dropping off and not parking. The first 7 minutes are free. After the first 7 minutes, the rate is NOK 40 per 20 minutes (or part thereof) from the time you enter.

If you are picking someone up, you can park in the short-stay car park P1. This is an obvious area to pick up passengers as it is close to the terminal. Entry and exit within 15 minutes are free of charge. After the first 15 minutes, the rate is NOK 40 per 20 minutes (or part thereof) from the time you enter, NOK 100 per hour, and NOK 556 for 24 hours.

Reserve a parking space when you book your flight. Prebook your entire parking stay for a fee that will always be less than drive-up rates. You can choose your parking area and pay right away. See Avinor.no and choose Stavanger airport, than press "Parking". If your tavel plans change, you can cancel or change your excisting parking reservation up to 2 hours before entry.

How camera recognition works:

With license plate recognition, parking starts and stops automatically at entry and exit.
1. Upon arrival, you don't need to do anything.
2. Upon departure, you can choose between several products & services:

- Parking with a valid mobile app, with or without automatic payment. Download the APCOA FLOW app in the Appstore or Google Play. Register a profile and select "automatic payment" in the app, and the payment will be deducted automatically every time without you needing to do anything. New! Easy registration and payment with Vipps.
- Parking with payment at the machine upon departure.

If you don’t use the app or the payment machine, you can choose between two products:

• Pay within 48 hours at flow.apcoa.no.
• Invoice sent to the legal owner of the vehicle. Invoice fees apply: NOK 10,- for end users / NOK 59,- for corporate customers

For users who cannot download the app in Norwegian Appstore / Google Play, the website flow.apcoa.no can be used. You can either register a profile or use the site anonymously by searching for the registration number.
