Avinor takes commercial partnerships to new heights

The Trade Marketing department at Avinor Commercial continues to energize the partnerships at our airport terminals, in accordance with the company’s strategy. Inspired by modern advertising methods for shopping destinations like malls and outlets, 2023 sees the airports bringing their commercial offerings in under one umbrella.

Targeted at both inbound and outbound travellers, domestic and abroad, the refreshed approach is all about presenting the width and depth on offer at the Norwegian airports, especially the hub in Oslo, as well as Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger. Rather than leaving the advertising to the individual brands or units, Avinor’s Trade Marketing collates all the best offers in our terminals into unified and attractive communications for destination shopping.

With ambitions to improve both share of travellers and average check, Avinor and their partners aim to present the major airports as shopping destinations where both small and large needs pertaining to travel may be met, be it clothing, accessories, food, electronics or other. Persuading travellers to plan for some extra time before they hustle to their gates is key to boost sales overall, both bringing more people into the stores and allowing them to spend more on their visit.

2023 is a game changing year for the partners and Avinor, with two comprehensive and seasonally themed campaigns being run for summer and Christmas respectively. Brand new artwork and fresh creative outtakes bring the airports as shopping destinations to a new level. Indeed, Avinor’s airports are ideally suited for the modern travellers who wish to both Shop and Fly.
