Short version - for those who are in a hurry
These conditions apply to pre-booking of parking at Trondheim Airport.
Avinor is the owner of the site you book on and the parking areas, while Sesam Parking AS is the seller of the parking services and operates the customer service center. If you have questions, please see our FAQs or contact our customer service center at firstname.lastname@example.org or (+47) 53 69 94 00.
Vehicle identification is based on your license plate number. It is your responsibility that the distinguishing number entered in the reservation is in accordance with the vehicle you use when you arrive at the parking area. If you choose a vehicle other than the one you have entered into the reservation, you must enter and change the distinguishing number in the reservation in advance.
The products and prices we show are those available for the time period you have specified. Orders must be made no later than 5 hours before entry. If you try to book less than 5 hours before your arrival, no products will be displayed. We recommend being previously outside to be secured space wherever you wish.
Changes and cancellations must be made 24h before the time of entry into the reservation. Note this if you reserve parking closer to your journey than 24 hours.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you allow Avinor to send your personal information to Apcoa Parking Norway AS. The information will only be used in conjunction with your booking.
1 About the site
These conditions apply to parking reservations done through www.avinor.no and all other URLs operated by Avinor AS. During the booking, you will be directed to our Nets payment service provider.
The website www.avinor.no is owned by Avinor AS, which is a registered company in Norway.

2 Contact customer service center
Parking at Trondheim Airport is run by the parking operator Sesam Parking AS, which is the seller of the parking services, including pre-booking of parking at the airport.

3 Booking Confirmation
When you pre-reserve parking, you will receive a confirmation of the booking to the email address you provided. The confirmation will contain all necessary details. The confirmation is also your receipt. It contains a unique reference number associated with your order. Description of what to do when you arrive and leave the parking area can be found in FAQ and on your booking confirmation.
The order cannot be transferred from you to another person, to another vehicle or to another airport or parking facility outside the airport.
Note: Your vehicle will be recognized by the license plate number when you arrive. Make sure you have registered the correct license plate number when booking!
4 Parking products, prices and payment
The parking options we have available will be displayed to you after you have chosen you desired dates.
Note: A reservation must be made no later than 5 hours before the scheduled entry, but there may be products that differ from this. This will be in the product description.
If you do not get any parking products or the product you want is not presented after you have selected dates, you may be late or the product is out of stock. Check by selecting any future date.
Products can be defined availability based on have the minimum / maximum parking time. This will de described in the product description.
Products can also be defined with a maximum number of places for reservation. If you cannot find the parking product you are looking for, we may not have more places to offer for reservation. The remaining parking spaces might be held for drop-in parking.
If you are extend the time you park beyond what has been booked, you will be charged for the overstay. This applies both if you arrive before the booked entry time or after the reserved exit time. You must pay for the overstay, regardless of the reason that parking time has been extended. The overstay is paid in the same way as regular parking, see FAQ. The overstay will be charged at the normal price of the parking area in question. You can find our normal prices on our website.
A reservation can only be used for one parking session. This means one entry with its following exit. You can not enter and exit the car park several times on the same reservation. If you exit the car park earlier than what you have reserved for, the reservation will be considered as finished. If you enter the car park again, this will start a new parking session and you will have to pay for this in the normal way.
All prices on the website are displayed in Norwegian kroner and include VAT. The transaction will be marked "Sesam Park TRD Airport » on your invoice or receipt from the bank. Pre-booking rates vary and may differ from the price of drop-in parking. The price on the screen is valid only at the time of booking and based on your choice of date, time of day and parking time. When you make a reservation, you accept this price at the time of purchase. The price may be different the next time you reserve parking.
Special promotions imply a concrete promised price of a given product specified in time. The promotions will have a limited duration. Information in our marketing should always be clear on these criteria for how the promotion is given. It is not possible to get promotion prices outside the stated promotional period. Promotional products will be limited and may be sold out in part of the promotional period.
5 Change, cancellation and refund of advance reservation
Description of how to change and cancel can be found in FAQ.
If you wish to change or cancel your order, this can be done via the same website as your reservation. To be valid, changes / cancellations must be made 24 hours before the reserved entry date and time. Changes and cancellations closer to the reserved entry time is not possible.
Some parking products cannot be canceled and / or changed. This will be clearly described in the product description and on the booking confirmation.
If you change / cancel a booking, you may be entitled to a refund. Refunds are automatically transferred to the credit card you used for the original reservation.
Normally there are no fees for change / cancellation. IF products do have such fees, this will be clearly defined in the product description.
- No refunds will be made after your expiration date (described on confirmation) or if you have not changed / canceled as described above.
- Parking time booked but not used will not be refunded unless you have changed the booking according to the procedure above.
- No refund will be made unless you can refer to a prepaid order reference / receipt with valid reference number. Refunds are made exclusively to the payment card / credit card the original payment was made with.
- No compensation or refund if the reservation service is unavailable, for example if an error hinders you from placing your reservation, error from the browser, if the solution is being upgraded and so on.
- No other refunds will be made beyond those described in these Terms.
If Avinor or the parking operator have to cancel your reservation for a reason within our control, we will refund the received amount to the same credit card used for the reservation. We are not obliged to refund fees charged by the credit card company.
Avinor / parking operator is not liable for any changes due to incidents beyond reasonable control. Examples of such incidents include war, insurgency, terrorist threats / activity, labor disputes, natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, public regulations / measures and cancellation / change of airline flight plans. We will not make any changes or cancel your order at any such event. You must make such changes or cancellations. Nor are we obligated to refund the payment in such cases.
6 Your vehicle and your parking is your responsibility
Avinor and the parking operator are not responsible for if you do not catch your flight or check-in because you have set off for too short time for parking / walking distance. Estimated normal distance / time is specified on the booking site. Remember also to make time to find the parking area and a free space there, pack luggage out of the car, lock it and so on. In high season (as in the holiday season and other holidays) it is recommended to set off extra time.
Avinor and parking operator ensure that the parking areas are as safe and secure as possible. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee 100% security / safety in the parking areas. Once you have parked your vehicle, it is your responsibility to lock it properly, carefully close all windows / doors / boot, put the handbrake on, turn on any alarm, lock steering wheel and so on. Do not leave pets or people in the car, ensure that any belongings are placed in a locked space and are not easily visible, make sure the vehicle is legally insured.
Avinor / parking operator are not liable for any loss or damage that occurs to the vehicle or belongings in case of failure to comply with the above. Avinor / parking operator is not liable for: Damage to your vehicle (whether it is unlawful or vandalism), Theft of or from your vehicle during the time it has been parked unless such damage or theft is caused by the negligence of Avinor / the parking operator and only to the extent that this negligence directly caused the damage / theft.
Any damage or theft of your vehicle that occurred during your stay must be reported to the parking operator before leaving the parking area. See contact details above.
You must drive carefully and responsibly in the parking areas and airport areas in general. You must also ensure that children and animals are supervised when they are in the parking facilities and the surrounding area. There is a lot of traffic at an airport, so take care.
You must adhere to all directional signage and other instructions when traveling in the parking area and in the airport areas.
Note: Please contact the parking operator if you cannot pick up your car before 30 days after the expiry date specified in the booking confirmation. Inform the parking operator of car make/model, license plate number and other features, parking area and approximate location on the site, the reason for your being prevented from picking up the vehicle, as well as information about the expected date you will be back to retrieve it, new contact data (phone, address, e-mail) if these have been changed from original order.
In cases where we do not receive notice as mentioned above, the car is deemed to be abandoned. In such cases, we will be entitled to remove the car at the owner's expense.
All pre-booked parking is regulated by the airport’s signage. If you park in reserved places without being entitled, you may be fined. Reserved places can be HC places (a valid HC card in the car is required), places for electrical cars etc. Reserved places are always well marked.
Beyond this - "Standard parking conditions" apply (see www.parkeringsklagenemnda.no) when booking a parking space. When you park or drivein Avinor’s parking area, these terms are considered accepted. In the event of a conflict between these terms and conditions and "Standard Terms of Parking", the standard terms apply.
All purchase agreements made between you and Seller through the website are governed by Norwegian law.
These terms only refer to this site. The terms and conditions apply to promotions as well as to normal products and services sold. In cases where there are other terms than these, this will be clearly stated.
We reserve the right to change these terms when and if this is required. Nevertheless, the terms that apply will be those posted at the time of booking. Please do not assume that the terms that applied on an earlier occasion will be apply for the next booking. We therefore recommend that you always read these terms before booking to make sure you accept them.
