A network of opportunities

Avinor manages 45 airports in Norway. We call it a network of opportunities.

Norway is best known for its stunning natural scenery, with many visitors coming to experience the midnight sun in the north, the beautiful fjords in the west, and cultural activities in the cities. To reach these places, tourists generally travel by air. Oslo Airport is the hub of this network of possibilities, with destinations all over Norway.

Long distances

To quickly reach the mountains, valleys and fjords, nature-seeking tourists board connecting flights after arriving at Oslo Airport. The Northern Lights Airports in the North are especially popular, as are flights to the regional centres Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.

The distance between Oslo and the northern city of Tromsø, is equal to the distance between Oslo and Paris.”

Since the distances across Norway are long, flying between domestic destinations is the most efficient way to travel, for tourists with limited time. Just imagine: the distance between Oslo and the northern city of Tromsø, is equal to the distance between Oslo and Paris!
