Check-in

Information about when you need to be at the airport, and where to check in your luggage

When should I be at the airport?

How early you need to be at the airport varies from airline to airline. Check your ticket or contact your airline for the exact check-in time.

Do I have to check in?

If you already have checked in and only have hand baggage, you may proceed directly to the security check.

If you have baggage you need to check, you can print bag tags at the check-in machines at the airport. Attach them to your baggage, and hand it over at the counter marked "bagdrop".

You must always be able to show travel documents, boarding card or electronic ticket in the security check.

In order to save time, please have your tickets and passport ready, and make sure your hand baggage only contains valuables and items you may need during your flight.

Using the check-in machines

The easiest way to check in is to use the self-service check-in machines. They are located near your airline's check-in area. This is where you select your seat and print your boarding card.

Online and mobile check-in

Many airlines offer online or mobile check-in. Here you have the opportunity to check in in advance, select your favourite seat, make changes and find other information. Visit your airline's website to learn more about these services.
